Shopping In Cambridge

There was a definite autumnal chill in the air today, as we set off to Cambridge. It’s the last day of the holidays for my eldest son, so we went and did the things we like to do in Cambridge. Favourite shopping for me includes Breeze, Ark, Gap (sale on kids clothes), any book shop and the market. We called in to the Michaelhouse Cafe, which was very quiet and peaceful today and I highly recommend it as a lovely, restful place to drop your bags and have a coffee in Cambridge, at least when the kids are back at school and most of the tourists have gone home. These gorgeous dahlias were on the market – deep pinky reds are my favourite. We also bought blueberries to make Blueberry Jam and peaches to make Peach and Ginger Chutney – success will hopefully follow and photos posted…
