May’s Special Flavours:

Banana Pecan Cupcakes with Caramel Frosting
This cupcake is a bit more muffin-like in texture than my usual cupcakes and includes chopped pecans, cinnamon and buttermilk. They are topped with a hand-swirled caramel frosting and chopped pecan nuts. They can be decorated with flowers instead. 12 cupcakes for £16.99

Price Increase

I had a small price increase at the beginning of May, as the costs of ingredients and fuel are going up. You will find however that they still represent very good value for money and are very competitively priced.

Green’s Coffee Shop, Cambourne

I am happy to tell you that I will be supplying cupcakes to Greens Coffee Shop in Cambourne, which opens its doors this Friday 14th May. Do go along and support them, as they will be selling high quality coffee, cakes and lunches in relaxing surroundings.

Just Desserts Event, Cambridge
This was sell-out event for me. We sold out 2 hours before the end and took lots of orders and wedding enquiries! Thanks to all who came along on the day and the wonderful feedback on the presentation of the cakes.

Weddings and Christenings
I am taking several booking every month for these events, so weekends are booking up fast. I can still accommodate wedding bookings during the week relatively easily, but please book well in advance for weekends.

On a general note, the sweet kitchen is becoming more well-known on a national level now. I have been contacted by a top national fashion magazine who are doing a cupcake feature, but I still have to decide if I want to pay to advertise nationally, when I only sell in this area… decisions, decisions!
