You wouldn’t believe that it’s actually the same colour used for the frosting and all the flowers. The yellow tint of the butter in the frosting has made the pink frosting slightly peachy-pink – that’s something to take into consideration when colouring sugarpaste and a butter frosting!
Still, I like it, as it gives the cakes a retro look.
These mini cupcakes are a good, cost-effective way of catering for larger numbers, as they come in batches of 24. They are also nice at the end of a celebratory meal, when you might not have room for a full-sized cupcake!
