Contemporary Christmas Cake in ‘The Cambridgeshire Journal’

My Rich Fruit Christmas Cake has made an appearance in the current issue of The Cambridgeshire Journal!

If you would like to order one, it’s best to get your order in now, partly because they are all made to order and partly because most people like their cakes to be matured and fed with brandy for a few weeks!

The cakes are full of luxury ingredients: unsalted butter, free range eggs, dark brown sugar, all sorts of dried fruits such as raisins, sultanas, currants, apricots, cherries and peel as well as liberal amounts of fresh orange and lemon, spices, nuts, ground almonds and plenty of brandy! They are covered in best quality marzipan and sugar paste icing.
